After graduating from Parsons School of Design, he pursued painting and illustration, publishing his watercolor works in various media. Brown's career evolved into design and creative direction, with a particular focus on jazz, reflecting his lifelong passion for the genre. He has designed for renowned institutions like Blue Note Jazz Club and Jazz at Lincoln Center, and his work has graced CD covers for notable jazz artists. Now teaching at Parsons School of Design, Brown resides in Brooklyn, where he continues to create.
